Families on Lumera-assisted recovery can reset with email + their authenticator code (plus a 24-hour cooling-off window). Families on self-custody need the recovery passphrase saved in Settings — Lumera can't decrypt self-custody data without it. The next step asks for your email and Lumera figures out which path applies.
